She has studied abroad extensively in Mexico, including language and literature study at the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro, and earned her Master's degree in Secondary Education from Grand Valley State University.
Deb enjoys writing modern-day teen novels that high school kids can both relate to and learn from. Her readers are carefully constructed to employ TPRS methodology, using the appropriate vocabulary and structures for students at each language level. Deb also enjoys singing and dancing in class and quoting the television show Seinfeld.
