Do You Know the Saying? is a very useful card game that helps students discover the meaning of the most common idiomatic expressions of the German language.
The aim is to expand the knowledge and use of German, but also to improve oral and written comprehension.
The deck consists of 132 cards divided into two decks: one deck with the illustrated phrases and another deck with three possible meanings of each phrase, only one of which is correct.
- The guide in German contains suggestions on how to play the game both in class or at home with friends, as well as remotely in online courses or online lessons.
- A video tutorial for using ELI games is available online on the ELI multimedia channel.
The game can be played in groups of five people maximum.
