Whether he's exploring treacherous goldmines in the Amazon, acting as a human rights observer in a Zapatista village in Chiapas, learning from children in street situations in Santo Domingo, or playing the clave in Havana, Chris approaches his teaching, writing, and filmmaking with a deep respect for all people and the complexities of our interconnected world.
