Kodi Rain (they/elle) teaches gender-inclusive Spanish to upper elementary and middle school students at a Montessori school. Before that they worked as a Spanish interpreter for immigrant students in a public middle and high school system.

GLAAD (Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) praised their first book, Los viernes
de películas, co-authored with Tian Torrano, as “groundbreaking” and “a first-of-its kind.”

They also speak and write about choosing and using LGBTQ+ resources and creating more queer inclusive classrooms.

They like being outdoors, riding their bicycle and unicycle, listening to music, playing with their four cats, and spending time with friends. Their favorite game is Telestrations.
