These aren’t the stuffy presidential portraits you’re used to seeing. From George Washington to Donald Trump’s second term, each president has an imagined bio from THEIR point of view! Posters also include presidents’ terms in office, their political parties, and key facts about events that took place during their presidencies.

How do I use the Presidential Timeline?

• Historical decoration: Hang all 47 posters in a single line around your classroom for almost 40 feet of presidential history!
• Thematic reinforcement: Use a document projector to analyze one president’s poster at a time or display president posters in groups as you study different eras in U.S. history (Early Republic, Progressive, etc.).
• Extension activities: Assign each student a president’s poster to dig deeper into presidential history:
• Create a live or recorded skit based on the president’s bio, props included.
• Debate another student/president in character over different policies or hold a whole-class debate over which president had the biggest impact.
• Conduct in-character interviews between students/presidents from different eras.
