It is designed to be used as-is, or teachers can choose the activities and sections that best fit their needs. No printing is required—everything can be projected, explained, and worked on directly with students (who use their notebooks to answer questions and complete activities).

This Teacher's Guide includes comprehension questions, activities for reflecting on the book’s themes, prompts for class discussions, and ideas for assessment. It also features songs, videos, images, and other resources that enrich the reading experience.

All of Adriana's Teaching Guides were born from her own teaching experience, with the goal of easing the day-to-day planning load. Adriana uses them with her own classes: She sees students for 80 minutes a day, and one guide gives her enough material for about three to four weeks, including reading time, independent work, and assessment.

Rather than being “perfect” materials, these guides aim to be useful, clear, and realistic, designed to support those who teach every day.
