Students draw and write to create posters of “viral” moments in Spanish, practicing vocabulary and grammar to record events from their daily lives, celebrity antics, and more. PikTok is meant to “unplug” your students and get them away from the screen—except for the included instructions download, no part of PikTok is an app or online. PikTok is not sponsored by or affiliated in any way with TikTok.

How Do You Use PikTok?
Students choose or are assigned a topic. They brainstorm and use the language they’ve acquired to create original drawings and text interpreting that topic as if it were a post on social media. You can also use PikTok to break the ice and allow students to introduce themselves during the first week of class.
