About the Author

Samuel Miranda has been teaching Spanish for over 20 years on the East Coast and in the Midwest. He spent an intensive six months studying in Mexico, and earned a master’s degree in Secondary Spanish Education. He has written short stories in both English and Spanish, and his travels in Spain inspired him to write El reloj de arena.
