Document-Based Question Activities for U.S. History Set of 2 Books

I'm pleased with this download. These were helpful to me for remote learning. They are an appropriate amount of information to discuss. They may be too simplistic or "easy" for upper level or APUSH students, but were a perfect challenge for my standard USH students.

Document-Based Question Activities

I honestly expected a lot more in terms of depth and detail. In many ways the documents are simply there with supporting questions. They are fine, but they don't lead to anything bigger. Unfortunately, I think DBQs have to lead to something and help students build a larger understanding of the topic. This unfortunately stops short of that. I was also very disappointed to see the Ben Franklin 1754 snake image included with the American Revolution. It is propaganda from the French and Indian War and is used out of context.
