Margot is a thirteen-year-old girl who lives in Paris. Margot's parents have high expectations for their daughter but between their demanding jobs and busy schedules, they don't always have the time to give her the attention she needs. When Margot discovers a new passion for rock music, she is certain that her parents will not be pleased about her new musical interest. Margot pursues her newfound love for rock music behind closed doors in fear that her parents will find out. In this coming-of-age story, Margot learns how to remain true to herself. She learns that lying and secrecy never result in a productive outcome and that being honest with the people you love most may be hard, but that it makes you a stronger individual in the end.
