Epic Fails in World History Skinny Poster

The "Epic Fail" is this poster for presenting opinion as fact. Very few historians believe Harry Truman decided to drop the atom bomb because of a mistranslation. The Japanese Prime Minister was quoted in a Japanese newspaper making an ambiguous statement that some (a minority) historians believe was misinterpreted. Regardless, Japan offered no response to the Potsdam Declaration other than that one ambiguous statement directed at the Japanese people; if there was an "epic fail" in this scene, it would be Japan for not responding, not Truman for failing to decode a cryptic response not intended for him.
